Jacob Andrew Hull
Jacob Andrew Hull, of Creswell, Oregon, passed away August 8th, 2022 at OHSU Hospital in Portland, Oregon from complications due to COVID-19 along with his ongoing, lifelong, battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Jacob was born on October 20, 1996 in Springfield, Oregon to Tracy Scott Hull and Miriah Katrina Miller.
Jacob was a loving and caring man. He was a strong, outspoken advocate for the little guy and those who have been shoved into the margins of society, and always sought to be a voice for those who didn’t have one, as well as bringing awareness to his disease.
As a child he was mischievous, hyper, and stubborn yet playful, and a goofball. From painting yellow rings on his grandma Dana’s paintings to hiding from his doctors at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, and playing pranks on people, you couldn’t escape his energy and spirit. He had an affinity for all things water related and loved to sing. He was the ultimate Blizzard fanboy, being able to quote and share any lore and facts about Blizzard’s properties, specifically “World Of Warcraft.”
Jacob never changed during high school; He had a never give up attitude and persevering spirit and graduated despite being told he was too far behind due to hospitalizations. Into adulthood he left an impression on everyone he met, making lifelong friendships with quite a few people. He maintained these friendships for over a decade, even when his health complications brought forth frequent visits to the hospital, and the need for constant oxygen support wherever he went. He brought joy and laughter, but could debate you on anything and everything; he was a walking Wikipedia. Jacob Andrew Hull can’t be summarized in just one word or phrase. Forever will his passion to help those less fortunate and his goofy grumbles, jokes, and black discs of shame live on with those he left behind.
Jacob is survived by his mother Miriah Miller, his brother Scott Hull, his sister Lilia Hull, as well as grandparents, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Jacob’s celebration of life is being held in Springfield, Oregon on September 25th, 2022 at 2pm.
